Some of us hate homework but if we can think positively, we will realize that homework is useful. Like we know, homework is a work which our teacher give to do at home. Like a writing lecturer ask the students to write an article about social problem or a prose lecturer give their students to write a short story at home and the students must bring it next day. Within homeworks, students can improve their understanding about the subject, teacher can evaluate their teachings and parents can make their children study at home easily.

Homework is useful for students, it can improve students' understanding about the subject. Doing their homework make them review what the teacher has taught. It means that they have to study and it is a dislike activity for some students. Nevertheless, it’s not for diligent students, they enjoy do a homework. Both diligent students and lazy students must take their time to study at home not only at a classroom.

Homework is also useful for teachers. They can evaluate their teaching and will know how their students get their explainations by looking the result from their homework. In case, all students give their own works and do not copying from the others. Teacher just has to tell the students the importance of doing homework. So, they will know that homework is useful for their goodness.

More over, homework is useful for parents too. It eases them to make their children study at home. As we know, some parents have difficulties to ask them study. However, when they get homework, they have to study. Even though sometimes, students do the homework because some uneducated reasons like they afraid of teacher’s punishment or afraid of being foolish in front of their friends if they are the only students who ‘s not doing the homework.

At last, homework is important and useful. So if your teacher asks you,” Do you want homework?”Just say “Yes!” It means they love and care about your development in order to improve your knowledge about the subject. Make homework like an ice cream in your mind. You want more, more and more…

MARKET VERSUS SUPERMARKET

Shopping is an interesting activity, and everyone loves shopping. There are some places for shopping like market and supermarket. Market is a big place consists of many shops which sells many kinds of products. Such as : foods, fashions, electronic tools etc. Almost the same with market, supermarket sells so many kinds of products , but the place is more modern. (give more definitions on market and supermarket) Market and supermarket have differences and similarities in some cases such as: the products, the places and the conditions.

First case is the products. They are same in the variety .There are so many variety of products we can find in market and supermarket. However, they are different in the price of products. In the market we can bargain the price but in the supermarket we can’t bargain the price, they are fixed prices. For example: In the market, the waiters says the price of a dress is Rp.50.000,-, we can bargain it for (into) Rp.40.000,-. If the waitress is agree, we can pay Rp.40.000, - for the dress. In supermarkets are different, if the price is Rp.50.000,-, we have to pay it Rp.50.000,-. Besides fixed price, the prices in supermarket are more expensive than supermarkets.

Second case is the places. Both of them are located in center of residential populations .on the other hand, they are different in the buildings. The buildings of market are usually traditional and ordinary layouts. For example : pasar baru , pasar lama etc. The buildings of supermarket are usually modern and artistic layouts. For example : Sarikat jaya, Giant, Alfa midi, indomaret etc.

Third case is the condition of place. Markets are the same as noisy as supermarkets. Both of them are visited by so many people. They make markets and supermarkets noisy. Markets are rather dirty but supermarkets are clean. Markets usually don’t have cleaning services but supermarkets have cleaning services who always clean up the building regularly. If market have , they are not as many as supermarkets have.

Those are some similarities and differences between markets and supermarkets. We can choose which one is suitable with our needs or purposes. If we want to buy the cheaper products, we can buy in the market .However, if we want to be comfort, we can go to supermarkets. So, it depends on you. Make your decision where you want to go. POSITIVES EFFECTS OF LIVING IN A BOARDING HOUSE

Boarding house is a place where students studying and staying in the same place. They join in the boarding house usually to learn general lessons and religion lessons too. This place usually far away from home. in this place there are so many rules such as wake up earlier than at home, limited time we have to eat, play, pray etc. It makes some child afraid of joining in here. However, their parents want them to become good persons. That’s why they bring their children to boarding house.

Living away from home in a boarding house which has so many rules and many kinds of friends influences many positive things for teenagers. Such as: being independent persons, discipline persons, good managing money and good interpersonal quality.

First effect is being independent persons. Teenagers mustn’t depend on their parents because they are far away from home. They have to do everything by themselves . For example: when they are hungry, they have to get the food by themselves. They have to buy or cook it . while If they are in their house, their mother will make it for them.

Second effect is make them learning how to managing their money. Their parents usually give amount of money once a month and they have to manage it .They have to arrange how much money for eating, fee tuition, buy books, expenditures for their assignments like photocopy, rent computer etc.

Third effect is being discipline persons. In every boarding house has some rules and penalties which they have to obey. What time they have to wake up in the morning, do exercises, eat, pray , study and even to sleep. Their lives are arranged regularly. It ‘s different when they are in their home. They wake up lately and, after school just playing with their friends (after school) because in their ages they trust in their friends than their parents.

Fourth effect is having good interpersonal quality. In a boarding house consists of so many kinds of people who have many characters. Sometimes they meet a good and patient friends, but another time they have to meet someone who is not too good. They have to face it alone. In here they have a good lesson. It is very useful when they are in a realistic life. Such as in work, when they’re growing up. They have to meet a lot of people with many characteristics. They don’t have to be surprised because they have been trained in the boarding house.

Those are some positive effects by living in a boarding house. However, teenagers don’t want to live in a boarding house. They are worry to loose their freedom. Only several teenagers choose to live in a boarding house and they must be lucky. They will be different persons, qualified persons and the best next generations who have a bright future.
